Fambridge Yacht Haven Pile Replacement

Overview

  • Client: Yacht Havens Group
  • Project Value: £430,000
  • Dates: April 2023 – May 2023

Fambridge Yacht Haven (FYH) engaged GPS Marine and Civil Services (GPS MACS) to undertake replacement of the piles holding their vessel access pontoons in place across their two marinas at the River Crouch Facility.

As part of the scope GPS MACS also replaced both the access gangways to the East and West marina pontoons.

Working from the GPS Boxer Crane Barge and using vibration and air hammer piling GPS MACS removed old timber and steel piles across a 5-week duration, finishing 3 weeks ahead of schedule, massively reducing the impact on the marina leisure boat users.
