Overview
Marine and Civil Diving Services Ltd were contracted by Southend Council to complete a UXO survey of the works area. Once the data had been processed we then carried out diving operations to excavate, identify and remove any targets.
- 3DChirp survey campaign with the aim identifying items in burial which match unexploded ordnance (UXO) threat items over the project area. Survey area shall by 50m x 50m.
- Reporting: Factual survey report detailing processing and interpretation
- Assessment of rendered potential target list by UXO Superintendent
- Commercial diving operations for de-burial and removal of targets.
